DYNAMIC
the dynamic shape of the pavilion was derived from the form in which water is held-  a form that could cradle, seep, pour, and contain the rainwater of Rome.

EXPRESSIVE
the lightness that is expressed throughout the entire project contrasts the existing forms of Rome.

FILTRATION
the rainwater that is captured and moved in and out of the pavilion offers opportunities for interaction.
Contrast (n): opposition or juxtaposition of different forms, lines, or colors in a work of art to produce a more dynamic expressiveness.

Contrast the uninhabitable fountains of Rome with the interactive collection and filtration of rain water.

Contrast the heavy inward focused buildings of Rome with the light and outward focused pavilion of interaction.

Contrast the lack of accessible green space on the street level of Rome with the grassy meadow found weaving its way down from the roof of the pavilion.
